Extremity Specialist (CCEP)

All chiropractors go through extensive training to become specialists of the spine. Dr. Williams has extensively pursued techniques and protocols in all areas of the body specifically the extremities including shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles, and feet.  For example, if the range of motion is restricted in a particular area of the body, the rest of the body will compensate around it.   Through those compensations, where a patient has pain may not be the true cause of the problem.  By specializing in numerous full-body techniques, Dr. Williams can adjust the full-body utilizing.

Graston

Through injuries, chronic disuse, and trauma the body creates scar tissue and adhesions in the soft tissue of the musculoskeletal system.  All soft tissue in the body is designed to have some elasticity.  Soft tissue injuries cause the tissue to lose the elasticity.  Pain and inflammation are created in order to help the body recover but that creates more scar tissue and adhesions.

The Graston instruments are tools designed to break down adhesions and scar tissue restoring proper elasticity and motion.

Pediatrics

Chiropractic care in its truest form was designed to allow the body to restore function and heal at its optimal level.  As the human body matures from an infant to a toddler and into adulthood, chemical, physical, and emotional stressors act on the body.  Through that, our body adapts to our environment. Having a child adjusted while experiencing growth is the most effective way to ensure the musculoskeletal system and body mature properly.

When the human body is expected to perform at a high level, proper care of the body must be taken.  If not, it will break down and injuries or loss of function will occur.  The more efficient at which body functions, the higher the level of performance it can attain.  Impact, trauma, extended time of performance and overall fatigue move the body away from balance or efficiency.  Getting adjusted to sustain or restore that balance and efficiency in the body is the best way to prevent injuries maintaining the highest level of performance.

ACTIVE RELEASE TECHNIQUE (ART)

ART is the gold standard in soft tissue treatment. Once an area or injury has been assessed, ART uses patient motion with a hands-on technique to address the issue.  Most patients experience rapid recovery.  It is so different that it was granted a medical patent.

Dr. Williams is full body ART Certified

SACRAL OCCIPITAL TECHNIQUE (CRANIAL WORK)

Sacral Occipital Technique (SOT) is a full-body diagnostic technique that utilizes indicators and information gathered from the body.

Dr. Williams uses that information to truly adjust and balance the patient's body.

Clinical Nutrition and Integrative Medicine

Adjustments alone aren't always sufficient enough to allow the body to fully heal. The healing process can be best facilitated by combining chiropractic with clinical nutrition to find what dietary habits may be destructive and how to fix it by combining healthy dietary habits with herbal and nutritional supplementation. This can sometimes be combined with lab work analysis in conjunction with clinical findings.

Dry Needling

Muscle spasms and triggers points can be painful and frustrating. In some instances, it can be more beneficial to use fine filament needles (acupuncture needles) to reduce the spasming of the muscle in order to better help the patient relax and allow the body to adjust more smoothly.
